Constructed in 1975, the Riverview Club is a 12-story, 262-unit condominium building overlooking the Hudson River in northwest Yonkers. After 50 years of service, significant deterioration developed throughout the parking garage, plazas, pool deck, and supporting structures. A condition assessment helped establish a long-term rehabilitation strategy for the property.

With limited site access and portions of the property operational, the project required innovative engineering solutions. STRUCTURAL worked closely with the owner, design professionals, and building management to coordinate the work while minimizing disruption to residents.

The rehabilitation included concrete and steel repairs, foundation wall repairs, corrosion control, new drainage and waterproofing systems, and protective coatings. The pool and pool deck were also replaced, while plaza finishes and accessibility were improved. After more than two years of construction, the project restored critical parking and structural infrastructure while revitalizing the property’s pool, plazas, and outdoor amenities. The result is a more durable, functional and accessible environment for residents.
