A natural gas power plant on the East Coast identified spalling on the walls of six underground concrete tunnels, posing potential risks to both structural integrity and operational efficiency. As a leader in concrete repair, STRUCTURAL was contracted for the project.

The project presented several unique challenges. The tunnels, located beneath an active roadway, housed electrical lines, complicating access due to the extensive utility infrastructure. Frequent flooding required meticulous coordination with the dewatering schedule, and logistical constraints made lowering equipment into the underground space particularly tricky.
