STRUCTURAL, successfully removed & replaced 52 aluminum windows at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, MA. The subcontractor, Architectural Window, provided the new windows. All exterior aluminum was separated from the interior aluminum by a rigid structural thermal barrier.
The windows include 1-1/2” triple glazed dual sealed insulated glass unit, with the panels being made up of a painted exterior and interior faces, hardboard stabilizers, and polyisocyanurate core.
All exposed exterior aluminum on the windows and trim received a high performance, 2-coat paint finish, while the interior aluminum received a baked enamel, 1-coat paint finish.
A 53 foot trailer was placed on-site to store all materials for the duration of the project. The installation was performed by a small crew, who utilized a telescoping boom lift, as well as coordinated interior access with the Hospital.
The project was completed on time and without safety incidents
