ImageIn 2016, STRUCTURAL TECHNOLOGIES (Structural Group, Inc.) acquired four of the operating units of the TOPCOR Companies. TOPCOR’s specialized repair and maintenance services and focus on shared clients, led to the integration of TOPCOR with STRUCTURAL. The integration of these companies to Structural TOPCOR, LLC over the past several years has been successful, and we are proud to be able to seamlessly offer customers STRUCTURAL’s broad scope of services, plus the products and design support offerings of STRUCTURAL TECHNOLOGIES.

In January 2016 STRUCTURAL TECHNOLOGIES (Structural Group, Inc.) acquired four of the operating units within the TOPCOR Companies, LLC group through an asset acquisition. Those operating companies are: TOPCOR Services, LLC, TOPCOR Offshore, LLC, TOPCOR Augusta, LLC and TOPCOR Mechanical, LLC.

Founded in 1989 and based in Baton Rouge, LA, TOPCOR, provides structural restoration and protection services to the chemical, petro-chemical, pulp and paper, power, municipal and federal markets.

The integration of TOPCOR and STRUCTURAL over the past several years has been successful and we are proud to be able to seamlessly offer previous TOPCOR customers the broader scope of services and technology offerings of STRUCTURAL and STRUCTURAL TECHNOLOGIES. With that integration complete it is appropriate to convert our branding of STRUCTURAL / TOPCOR to simply STRUCTURAL.

All previous TOPCOR offices including Augusta, Charleston and our merged Baton Rouge office will all be known as STRUCTURAL, a Structural Technologies company and will carry out STRUCTURAL TECHNOLOGIES overall vision of “providing technology-driven solutions that make structures stronger and last longer.”

Our parent brand, STRUCTURAL TECHNOLOGIES continues to grow as owners and engineers select its products to solve their repair and protection challenges and use STRUCTURAL to implement those solutions in the field. This growth has made STRUCTURAL TECHNOLOGIES a leader in developing solutions for structural strengthening, pipe rehabilitation, post-tensioning, corrosion control, moisture control and concrete infrastructure repair and protection.

The integration of STRUCTURAL TECHNOLOGIES products by the company’s specialty repair and maintenance companies, STRUCTURAL and PULLMAN, allows clients to benefit from single-source product and installation solutions.

Combining repair and maintenance services, engineered products and engineering support services in conjunction with its engineering partners, STRUCTURAL TECHNOLOGIES’ companies provide customers comprehensive solutions across commercial, public, industrial, power, water/wastewater and transportation markets.

The skills and experience required to repair civil and structural infrastructure are decidedly different from those required to maintain mechanical and process equipment. STRUCTURAL is widely recognized as the industry leader in concrete and structural repair. Our maintenance programs are facilitated with local solution builders who are ready to help with known problems or emergencies.
